Meet Jasmine – Founder of The District Hair Lounge

With 17 years of experience in the beauty industry, Jasmine’s journey began at Paul Mitchell The School, where she laid the foundation for her craft. After graduation, she immersed herself in a rigorous training program focused on precision cutting and advanced color techniques—quickly discovering her true passion: hair coloring .

Jasmine’s talent and dedication led her to work with L’Oréal Professionnel, further refining her skills and industry expertise. Nine years ago, she took a bold step and launched her first small business in a salon suite. There, she not only built a loyal clientele but also developed a deep passion for entrepreneurship and mentoring fellow hair artists.

Driven by a desire to create a space that fosters growth, creativity, and connection, Jasmine founded The District Hair Lounge—a salon designed to empower other artists and elevate the client experience. Her belief in whole-person wellness has become central to her work, merging beauty with self-care to offer more than just a haircut or color.

Jasmine believes that when you feel good, you live well—and it often starts in the salon chair. She is deeply committed to listening, learning, and supporting each client through their unique hair journey, always striving to create a positive, uplifting experience from the inside out.

With nearly four years in the beauty industry, Bijou brings expertise in high-level security, emotional support, strategic begging for snacks, and relentless cuddles. As a hypoallergenic standard poodle, she’s the perfect addition to your salon experience.
